Banded Amethyst, also Known as Chevron Amethyst
Although designed as crystal wands, these banded amethyst stones would be a great addition to any collection of rocks and minerals.
Each stone has one flat side, so it sits comfortably without wobbling.
Chevron amethyst, or banded amethyst as this mineral is also known, features milky white quartz sandwiched between rich-purple amethyst. The name comes from the distinctive v-shaped patterns that often resemble chevrons.
Our photographs were taken in natural daylight, so no artificial lighting was used.
Stone 7 is being offered at a slightly reduced price because it has a small chip-like indentation under the front lower right corner (photo 1). It can just about be seen in our second photo. Although not that noticeable, it can be felt.
