Stones produced in a rock tumbler have a more natural appearance and vary in shape and size.
Tumbled stones cut and polished by hand or a machine have a more 'perfect' appearance and standard shape.
Cube-shaped tumbled stones and those perfectly round or oval will have been cut by machine or by hand.
