cabochon is a gemstone that's been shaped and polished with a smooth, rounded top and a flat base. Unlike faceted stones, cabochons have no facets.
This style is generally used for opaque gemstones, specifically to highlight colour, patterns, or
optical phenomena like chatoyance, play of colour or asterism.
We never buy gemstones in bulk. Each cabochon has been individually chosen.
