Rough Blue Apatite Stones
Apatite, which is a relatively common mineral, can be found in small quantities in igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks.
Apatite is the same material as calcium phosphate, which can be found in bones and tooth enamel.
Apatite grades 5 on the Mohs scale of hardness, which means it's relatively soft.
Although it occurs in several colours, blue and green apatite are the most common.
