Two highly polished red jasper gemstones. The colour of red jasper comes from impurities of iron oxides, usually hematite. With them being highly polished, they reflect light beautifully. The base of both stones is flat, so they could be used in a piece of jewellery. The square red jasper stone weighs 10.7 grams and measures 2.6 x 0.7cms. The triangular-shaped stone weighs 7.1 grams and measures 3 x 0.7cms.
