Aquamarine Pendant Large and Chunky
An impressive aquamarine gem-grade cabochon mounted as a pendant in a fine sterling silver setting.
Aquamarine is the blue variety of the mineral beryl. Shades of colour can vary from pale green to light blue.
When examined carefully in good light, minute specs of colour caused by iridescence can be seen on the surface of this stone. This can just about be seen in our first photo.
This highly polished aquamarine gemstone is mounted in a slightly chunkier sterling silver setting.
On one side, a fine vertical line can be seen. The reason for this tea-stain mark is firescale. It's very subtle and can only be seen as light hits the silver at a certain angle. It appears far more prominent in our photo because of how the pendant is being illuminated.
For this reason, this aquamarine pendant is being offered at a slightly reduced price.
