Fine Morganite Gemstone Pendant
Morganite is a pink variety of the mineral beryl. Despite the name the colour can vary from yellowish orange to peachy orange to a peachy shade of pink. It can also be a subtle shade of lilac or a subtle shade of green.
Most morganite gemstones being sold commercially are pink. The vast majority would have been heat treated which enhances or changes the colour.
This faceted morganite gemstone reflects light from almost every angle. It's mounted in a chunky 18 carat white gold setting. It carries our own SM hallmark from the London Assay Office.
