Beautifully Polished Orange Calcite Sphere
Two exceptional orange calcite spheres meticulously chosen for our collection of rocks and minerals.
Calcite is a soft mineral, so it must be handled carefully. It should not be exposed to chemicals or any acidic substances.
The colour is not believed to be sensitive to light, so shouldn't fade. However, as with all natural minerals, prolonged exposure to direct sunlight should be avoided.
These orange calcite spheres were photographed in natural daylight.
Each sphere comes with the polished hematite ring that they're photographed on.
Sphere 2, on the right, has a distinctive circular pattern of white calcite which makes it particularly unique.
