AA-Grade Sunset Sodalite Crystals
Royal-blue sodalite crystals with striking orange inclusions. Originally called "orange sodalite," this stone has recently acquired the trade name Sunset Sodalite.
While feldspar is often credited as the source of the orange colour, I haven’t found any definitive evidence that confirms that. The colour may well come from inclusions of feldspar, but could also be from calcite or some kind of staining or oxidation.
We also have sodalite crystals included with white calcite, sodalite that's virtually inclusion-free and AAA-grade sodalite. The AAA-grade stones are very similar to these except the shade of blue is darker.
A distinctive and beautifully polished Sunset Sodalite crystal. These are medium-sized tumbled stones, but due to differences in size, we've split them into small and medium.
