Natural Citrine Terminated Crystal
Freestanding, natural citrine cut from material mined in Zambia.
This transparent crystal, which exhibits subtle colour, is virtually inclusion-free.
It has a vitreous lustre, so reflects light in a similar way to glass.
Although finely polished, this citrine terminated point has a couple of natural imperfections. These would have been present in the original crystal from which it was cut.
Citrine is a relatively rare mineral, so amethyst and also smoky quartz are often heat-treated and sold as citrine.
