Octahedron-Shaped Fluorite Crystals
Unpolished fluorite crystals, individually chosen for our collection of rocks and minerals.
An octahedron-shaped crystal resembles two pyramids joined at the base. Although fluorite often forms in this crystal habit, it’s sometimes difficult to tell whether the shape is natural or has been cut this way.
Fluorite is one of the world's most colourful minerals, but white fluorite (colourless) is rarely seen. This isn't because it's particularly rare but because colourful rocks and minerals are more popular.
White or colourless fluorite is free from impurities.
Each fluorite crystal is fascinatingly translucent. The darker pieces have a deep olive-green colour. Being translucent, the crystal's colour is best appreciated when held up to the light.
Please make your selection from the listings below. The fluorite crystals are numbered in our last photo.
