Labradorite is a beautiful mineral that never ceases to amaze and fascinate.
This fully polished stone has a silky-smooth texture and is incredibly iridescent.
With the reflection of light from various angles flashes of vivid green and blue colour can be seen.
The colours we see in labradorite are the reflection of light. It's produced as light reflects off crystals beneath the surface of the stone.
The edges of this chunky piece of labradorite are softly rounded. The base is flat. The back (base) of the stone is not as iridescent as the front.
