Highly Polished Tiger Iron Stone
A finely cut, beautifully polished tiger iron stone produced from material mined in Western Australia.
Tiger iron is often confused for the mineral tigers eye. Although they can look very similar, they're two different materials.
In ambient light, this tiger iron stone is wonderfully chatoyant, and having been finely polished, it has the smoothest texture.
The back of the stone, which is flat, has a subtle ridge because of how it was cut. There's also a small chip close to one edge, which is the reason it has been reduced.
If you're looking for a superb tiger iron stone and don't mind an imperfection, this piece won't disappoint.
