Rare Charoite Polished Stone
Charoite is a relatively rare mineral from Russia's Far East.
The amount that can be mined yearly is limited to one hundred tons.
Charoite has always been expensive and difficult to find. The current situation in Russia has pushed prices up further, and finding any nice-grade material is now more difficult than ever.
The charoite stone on the right in our photo is the only piece now available. It has a spectacular polish and exhibits subtle chatoyance. Its magnificent colour and impressive size make it a unique and valuable addition to any collection of rocks and minerals.
