Ocean Jasper Cabochon Gemstone
Finely polished ocean jasper cabochon cut from material mined in Madagascar.
This gemstone exhibits subtle markings and delicate pastel colours.
Fine grade ocean jasper is not easy to find because most deposits are now mined out.
The flat base of this ocean jasper cabochon has only been lightly polished. It therefore has a dull lustre meaning it absorbs light instead of reflecting it.
The stone has a very minor imperfection which can be seen in our second photo. You'll have to look closely to see it. It's on the bottom of the cabochon on the top left corner.
