3 Strand Multi-Coloured Tourmaline Necklace
This beautiful necklace features three strands of multi-coloured faceted tourmalines. The lobster clasp and findings are sterling silver.
The necklace can be worn at different lengths, depending on which ring the clasp is secured to.
Each tourmaline gemstone is translucent, so when the necklace is held up towards the light, the striking colour of each stone can be fully appreciated. Red, yellow, blue, green, mauve and pink are the most distinctive.
The diameter of each gemstone is one millimetre. The length of the necklace at the shortest point is 45 centimetres, but it can be extended to 49. The necklace weighs 36.3 grams and includes approximately 675 stones, all of which were faceted by hand.
Tourmaline can be found in many countries around the world. Some of the finest crystals come from Africa, the Ural Mountains of Russia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and the USA.
This multi-coloured tourmaline necklace was crafted for Stone Mania by one of a small team of artisans.
