Tumbled Iron Pyrite Stones
Pyrite is an iron sulphide mineral meaning it's a chemical compound of iron and sulphur.
The name comes from the Greek word ‘pyr’ meaning ‘fire’. When struck with a hard stone or steel pyrite produces a spark. Since antiquity it has been used for lighting fires.
When used for healing the reflective face of pyrite is said to offer excellent shielding properties against negative energy.
