Blue Beryl Tumbled Stones - Small Sizes
Blue beryl crystals in smaller sizes. As with all tumbled stones produced in a rock tumbler, size can vary from piece to piece.
When used as a gemstone, blue beryl is not particularly well known in its own right. Fine-grade blue beryl tends to be known as aquamarine.
The stone's grade is what differentiates blue beryl from aquamarine, though there is a tendency for all blue beryl, regardless of grade, to be labelled as aquamarine.
The colour of blue beryl comes from impurities of iron. In its purest form, beryl is colourless.
In addition to emerald, other varieties of beryl include morganite, which occurs in shades of pink, goshenite, which is colourless, and the incredibly rare red beryl.
These small blue beryl tumbled stones have been beautifully polished which makes them incredibly tactile.
We also have aquamarine tumbled stones in our collection.
