Natural Citrine from Zambia
Natural citrine from our collection of rocks and minerals. These stones are not heated amethyst.
Due to the mineral citrine being relatively rare, many commercial-grade stones are amethyst that has been heated.
While most people expect citrine to be distinctively yellow, the shade can vary significantly. The exact cause of the colour is not known for certain.
The colour of citrine is generally believed to be associated with impurities of aluminium and exposure to radiation. Iron may also be a contributing factor, although many questions remain unanswered.
We only have a very small quantity of these natural citrine crystals left available. They're being offered at a reduced price because most have minor imperfections or anomalies.
If using crystals for their healing properties, the grade or condition of a stone does not affect its energy.
The late Judy Hall, author of the Crystal Bible books, said the energy of a crystal that's damaged or broken will often be more powerful.
These natural citrine crystals are a medium-size tumble stone.
