Unakite is a metamorphic rock that began life as granite. Named after the Unaka Range of Mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee, where it was discovered, it's a colourful stone used primarily for decorative purposes.
Composed of pink orthoclase, green epidote, feldspar and quartz, unakite is widely used for its metaphysical healing properties.
