Rare Charoite Polished Stone
A fully polished, larger-sized charoite cabochon.
This unique stone can only be found in Russia's Far East.
Due to its rarity, the amount of charoite that can be mined each year has been limited to one hundred tons.
In good ambient light, some areas of this cabochon exhibit subtle chatoyance.
This charoite gemstone is a slightly lower grade than the other piece in our collection. The reason is that the shade of purple is not quite as vibrant.
