Faceted Amethyst Cocktail Ring
Two stunning amethyst rings featuring a translucent gemstone with a concave cut.
The concave cut features long, curved facets that scatter more light towards the centre of the gemstone, creating more brilliance.
Although impressive, this type of cut is not popular with gem cutters due to the time it takes and the amount of wastage.
Both rings have been designed with a fine, sterling silver setting.
K and L are relatively small finger sizes.
These rings measure 2.5 cm from the top of the amethyst to the bottom of the sterling silver ring. The gemstone has a diameter of 1.4 cm.
The setting complements the colour of the amethyst beautifully.
