Polished Amethyst Crystals
Premium-grade natural amethyst crystals, individually chosen for our collection of rocks and minerals.
Although these crystals may look similar, each one has its own unique characteristics. The one thing they all have in common is a slight variation in colour.
Some are subtly included with what I believe is citrine.
The range of colour in which amethyst occurs varies from subtle lilac to deep purple. Colour-zoning, which is a common characteristic, means the colour is not uniform throughout the stone.
Amethyst is sensitive to heat and UV light, so prolonged exposure can cause its colour to fade.
Please bear in mind that these carvings are cut from natural amethyst. To avoid losing more material than necessary when the crystal is being polished, minor imperfections may not be polished out.
