Sodalite Pendant with Slim Design
Sodalite gemstone crafted as a pendant in a fine sterling silver setting.
A relatively hard stone, sodalite is sometimes confused for lapis lazuli. Named for its high sodium content, it was discovered in the early 1800's.
White and/or orange coloured inclusions are relatively common. Both complement the deep inky-blue colour of the stone.
Sodalite is one of only a few natural minerals to be used solely for ornamental purposes. It's widely used for its metaphysical healing properties.
